Delivery Notice
Chief Tom Ruchala and the members of the Rutland, MA Fire Dept have taken delivery of this Sutphen Ambassador Custom Pumper. It features a 4-man, 56” long cab with a 20” raised roof, Cummins ISL 400hp engine, Hale 1750 GPM pump, 1000 Gal water tank with built in 20 Gal foam tank and full depth compartments on both sides of the body. Additional features include a FoamPro onboard foam system and a Smart Power 10kW generator that powers telescopic scene lights and electrical outlets. This unit was sold by Ted Parsons of Five Star Fire of East Hartford, CT.

This unit features an Kenworth T-800 chassis with a Cummins ISX 500HP engine, Allison Automatic 4000EVS Transmission and a Whelen LED lighting package. The apparatus also has a Hale 500 GPM Side Kick pump, 1- speedlay, 2- 2.5" discharges and 2- Rear Firemen's Friend direct tank fills. The mirrored wrap elliptical tank holds 3000 gallons of water and there are 3 water level gauges. There are three Stainless steel Newton dumps controlled from the cab and the rear. A Stainless steel body and sub frame, twin suction storage boxes, back up camera, Zico electric porta tank rack, scene lighting from 3 sides of the vehicle, Amdor roll up doors, LED compartment lighting and custom shelving complete this vehicle, while maintaining an overall length under 30 feet !! This unit features a Sutphen custom monarch chassis with a Cummins ISM 435 HP diesel engine, Allison Automatic EVS Transmission and a 6 man custom cab. The pump is a Hale QMAX 1500 GPM, with Akron valves, a front suction, front discharge and a Deck gun. Ultra low hose bed, with rear pre-connects allow for easy hose bed access. The tank is a 750 gallon poly tank. Stainless steel body and sub frame, full compliment of loose equipment, custom equipment mounting, shelving and tool boards, on-spot chains, Rom roll up doors, LED scene lights and Whelen LED lighting complete this unit. This is Teaneck, NJ's third Sutphen.

The tank is a 1000 gal poly tank with a built in 30 gal foam tank. Aluminum extruded body, 10kw Onan Gen set, Wil-Burt light tower recessed in the pump module, custom shelving and tool boards, coffin compartments, speedy dry hopper, Rom roll up doors, Whelen LED lighting and Electric cord reels complete this unit. This unit features a Sutphen custom monarch chassis with a 515hp Detroit Diesel engine, a Telma retarder and an 8 man custom cab. The pump is a Waterous CMUH 2000gpm - 3 stage pump, with all electric valves / flow meters, 3 cross lays, 3 - 2 1/2" side discharges, 2 - 2 1/2" rear discharges and a TFT Monsoon remote control deck gun. It features an onboard Foam Pro 3060D Class B foam system. The tank is a 2000 gal poly tank with a built in 250 gal foam tank. 15kw Harrison Gen set, Wil-Burt light tower recessed in the cab roof, custom equipment mounting, rescue tools, cord reels, Rom roll up doors, Whelen LED lighting and vogul auto lube system complete this unit. Hamlin Fire & Rescue in Pennsylvania has taken delivery of a Kenworth T-800 Sutphen Elliptical Tanker. This unit features a 525 HP Cummins ISX engine. There is a Hale MG 750 gpm Side Kick pump and a 3000 gallon Pro Poly water tank with a mirrored stainless steel wrap. The truck has a 3000 gallon porta-tank mounted on a Zico tank rack, with a mirrored aluminum rack cover, located above the stainless steel body. There are three 10" electric Newton Dumps, controlled from both in the cab and outside the truck. Rear crosslays, a color LCD back up camera, six scene lights and a LED Whelen light package complete this vehicle. This unit was sold and serviced by Signal 1 Fire Equipment.
